Aman Khera is the Owner and Director of Prince Rupert Childcare, bringing over nine years of experience in childcare, including seven years running multiple childcare centres. She holds a Master in Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), and is a Certified High School Teacher with Ontario Teacher Certification, as well as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator.
Aman combines her strong academic background with her passion for early childhood education to create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for both children and staff. Her leadership ensures that every child receives high-quality care and guidance while fostering a welcoming, family-centered community.
Mehakdeep Kaur is a dedicated Level 3 Early Childhood Educator who works in our preschool program, creating nurturing and engaging learning environments for children. She holds an Early Learning and Childcare Diploma from NorQuest College, Edmonton, and is a Certified Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (Alberta Child Care Staff Certification, October 2025).
Mehakdeep fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence, helping every child reach their full potential in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Hitashu Sharma is a passionate Level 2 Early Childhood Educator who works in our toddler room, bringing strong academic knowledge and a deep love for working with young children. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Panjab University, India, along with an Early Childhood Certificate from Lethbridge Polytechnic College.
Hitashu is currently pursuing her Early Childhood Diploma at Lethbridge College. She creates engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every toddler.
Poonam Sandhu is a dedicated Early Childhood Educator in our preschool program with over 15 years of teaching experience. She holds a Level 1 Early Childhood Education Certification (Alberta) and a Bachelor’s in Arts, along with certifications in Playwork in Child Development and Autism Awareness and Support.
Poonam creates a warm and engaging environment where children feel supported, inspired, and encouraged to explore and learn every day. Her caring and inclusive approach makes her a valued member of our team.
Aida Wane is a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator and the Out of School Care (OSC) Lead, bringing over 8 years of experience working in daycare centres in Montreal and Edmonton, along with 3 years as a teaching assistant with Edmonton Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Sénégal and a Business Management degree from the Geneva School of Management in Switzerland, where she lived for 5 years before moving to Canada in 2006.
Aida is deeply passionate about education, with a special focus on supporting the development and inclusion of children with special needs. Her leadership, compassion, and commitment to inclusive practices help create a structured, engaging, and supportive environment for school-age children in our OSC program.
Sanhapreet Kaur is a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant in our toddler room. She holds a High School diploma with a focus in Science and a Child and Youth Care Diploma. Sanhapreet is passionate about supporting toddlers’ growth and development, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn through play.
